The History of Byrne Publishing Group Inc.In 1981, Paul Byrne, founder and publisher of Byrne Publishing Group Inc. started Stages, a magazine in that would later be renamed Lethbridge Magazine. Seven years later, in 1988, Byrne published the first issue of Okanagan Life Magazine. Okanagan Life has grown from just two issues in 1988 to 10 issues per year in 2006. Throughout Byrne Publishing Group's 17 years, additional publications have been added such as the Okanagan Life Annual Valley Guide and the Okanagan Life Relocation & Real Estate Guide. In addition to these publications, Byrne Publishing Group has produced numerous special publications for prominent Okanagan businesses as well as official visitors' guides for Tourism Kelowna, Vernon Tourism and Shuswap Tourism.
