Pihl & Associates Swing into Action Golf Marathon - Brain Injury Prevention

A full day of golf from dusk until dawn at Shannon Lake Golf Club - players take on 100 holes in a single day for a great cause. This year’s goal is to raise $65,000 with all proceeds to brain injury education and prevention programs in the Okanagan coordinated by not-for-profit BrainTrust Canada. Up for grabs are $70,000 in hole in ones and Grand Prizes include a trip to Victoria to golf at Arbutus Ridge Golf Club and a trip to Vancouver to see a Canucks Game. The 12th Annual Okanagan Family AIDS Walk is presented by Interior Savings at Waterfront Park in Kelowna and hosted by the Living Positive Resource Centre and the Okanagan Aboriginal AIDS Society. The money raised helps to continue public education programs that focus on prevention and awareness here in the Okanagan region and funds support programs that work towards ensuring the health and quality of life those dealing with HIV, AIDS and hepatitis. Join in the three-kilometre walk along Kelowna's waterfront, from Waterfront Park to City Park and back again. There are great prizes for Top Individual and Top Team Fundraisers, great entertainment and lots of fun!
